Marbled Eggs

These eggs have a lovely marbled appearance and a delicate flavour.

Ingredients:

Preparation:

 

Boil the eggs in water for 8 minutes.

Remove and tap the eggs all over with the back of a spoon giving them a crackled look.

Return eggs to the pan and cover with fresh water.

Add remaining ingredients and boil for 20 minutes.

Leave in the mixture for at least three hours.

Remove shells and serve.
