Tandoori Chicken

Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken pieces
- 1/2” piece of ginger
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- salt
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp coriander seeds, ground
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, ground
- lemon juice
Preparation:
Skin the chicken, and pat dry with paper towel. Make deep cuts on the surface with a knife.
Mince ginger and garlic. Transfer to a small bowl and add the spices. Mix well, then rub the paste into the chicken and let marinate serveral hours in refrigerator.
Cook chicken on grill or in broiler, basting with leftover marinade and turning for even cooking. Serve with a dash of lemon juice.
