Chicken With Sumac

Total Time: 35 minutes
- 2 2lb (2 x 1 kg) chickens, quartered
- 1 onion, minced
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 6 tbsp (120 ml) olive oil
- 2 tsp sumac
- 1 tsp ground cassia
- pepper to taste
- salt to taste
Place the chicken pieces in a dish.
Mix the remaining ingredients together, pour over chicken.
Marinate for several hours or overnight.
Grill or barbecue, turning 3 or 4 times and basting frequently with the marinade until the chicken is browned.
